Shana Pearson

With two albums to her name, the first in 2009 - Regarde-Moi - going gold in Switzerland, and the second - Love Inferno - released in 2013, Shana Pearson has already worked with major recording artists including Big Ali on "Distress", which climbed to number two in the French charts and stayed there for weeks in the summer of 2011. Her career highlights include supporting Justin Bieber, and with Big Ali at the Strasbourg Zenith in 2013. With an American mother and Swiss father, Shana Pearson grew up surrounded by music. Her great-grandmother performed at the Geneva opera and her father played piano and electric guitar. Aged eight, Shana started her career as a soloist in a choir, performing 20 concerts a year in France and Switzerland. At 11, she and her choir recorded an album at the studios at TSR. Some years later, Shana made a new musical discovery with jazz, soul, gospel, R&B and hip-hop. She began singing lyrics for local rappers, then partnered a ragga singer in Nyon while still in the choir at 16 years old. It was then that she discovered a talent for songwriting and making her own music. Shana Pearson's first EP as a solo artist, Fearless, was released on 31 October 2016; three singles from it have been hits abroad.
