  • Carbon footprint

This year, to limit its environmental impact, the festival stages rotation will be simplified. This means a carbon footprint reduced by 20%.

  • Reasoned programming

All the artists chosen for the festival are either already on tour or in a nearby European region accessible by train.

  • Tickets

We do not issue paper tickets. Access tickets are ski passes, all refillable on hands-free & reusable media.

  • Reusable plastic cups

Refreshment plastic cups and 1.5L carafes are recyclable and returnable.

  • Mobility

100% of our festival-goers travel to the stages on foot or by skis, the carbon footprint for accessing to the concerts area stays low and does not have a significant impact the regular energy consumption of the ski area.

  • Food and drinks

The products on offer at the festival’s refreshment and catering outlets come from often organic, and above all regional producers or brands.

  • Waste

All waste  is collected, bringed down to the resorts and sorted by our green brigades.

  • Awareness

The public is made aware of the importance of respecting the environment through specific signage.

Fancy a good beer or a refreshing drink, and want to enjoy a quick bite to eat with your feet in the snow and your head in the sun?
No worries, each concert site is equipped with refreshment stands where you can hydrate at your leisure.
Refreshment stands at concert venues open from midday.
Be responsible, think of your return on skis!

  • Accessibility

Les Portes du Soleil ski area is committed to the development of Handiskiing.
We have therefore ensured that the majority of concert sites on the slopes are accessible via a Handiski-friendly lift. A designated PRM area is available at each concert venue, close to each VIP/guest area. More information at the entrance to each concert venue.

  • Back to station

So that you can ski back home after the concerts on the slopes, the ski lifts close 1/2 hour later throughout the festival week!

And to keep the fun going, more than 30 after-ski concerts are scheduled in the resort centers.

  • Cancellation insurance

In the event of concert cancellation, only if the concert ski pass / VIP pass has not been used on the lifts, concert ski passes and VIP passes will be carried over to the next edition, or converted into a Portes du Soleil ski pass to be used before the end of the current winter season.

  • Insurance

In the event of a ski accident or any other personal cause preventing users from using the lifts ski passes / VIP passes that have been partially used will not be reimbursed.
Snowrisk insurance to cover this risk is available as an optional extra on the online sales website for €3.50 per day.
Details of the insurance cover are available at www.snowrisk.fr. The insurance is
offered by Mondial Assistance under the Gritchen Affinity brand.
