The entertainment starts at 12.45pm on the slopes with a DJ warm-up set, followed by the main concert at 1.30pm.

And to make sure you can ski home without rushing after the concert, the mountain lifts will stay open half an hour later than usual during the whole week of festival!

Ski Racks

For safety reasons, skis and snowboards must be removed for the concerts. We'll be providing free, unguarded ski racks at each concert venue on the slopes.

Drink & Food

Fancy sipping a beer and enjoying a snack on the snow in the sunshine? No problem! Each concert venue on the slopes is kitted out with drinks & food stands to keep you refreshed as long as you wish. But remember, please drink sensibly, since you’ll be heading home on skis!

Handi Concert Access

The Portes du Soleil is committed to the development of handiskiing. We've made sure that most concert venues are accessible via a mountain lift that can carry handiskiers

Concert Venues

The concerts beginning at 1.30pm will take place at STAGE 1 venues throughout the Portes du Soleil (click link to see festival map below); all of the concerts take place above 1600m!

REMEMBER: you will need skis/snowboard to reach these venues.

Download the festival piste map here.

For après-ski fun between 5pm and 7pm, you’ll find bands will play on STAGE 2 venues throughout the Portes du Soleil, in the centre of each resort. These venues will also host the OFF festival artists where up-and-coming talent get maximum exposure.

Eco friendly

The Festival is renowned for its original and unspoilt venues.
To ensure this natural theme lives on, the Portes du Soleil makes a significant effort towards the environment and eco-citizenship.
The Festival’s innovative and modern qualities are ideal partners for the event’s environmentally friendly approach.

Our commitment to eco-citizenship is demonstrated in several ways:
Concert venues are ephemeral, one-day installations, but are reused for subsequent shows.
Public transportation s offered by snow shuttles and buses help music fans to get around easily.

The shuttles — Balad’Aulps bus and Colombus – offer a regular daytime service throughout the Portes du Soleil.
We encourage festival visitors to participate in car-sharing to get to the resorts easily; it saves money AND it’s fun!

The toilets at each concert venue are composting/dry facilities.
The plastic glasses available at the bars can be returned and used again (deposit applies).
We recycle as much waste as we can from the ski area by collecting PET products, installing new recycling bins…

You can help us to keep the concert venues totally wild too!
