Tristan Casara, aka The Avener, is not your typical DJ/producer. Sure, he’s a master when it comes to operating his electronic equipment, sound chips and computer-aided music software, but he’s first and foremost a musician, a true composer.
A composer who, from the age of five, studied classical piano at the Nice Conservatory. His first album, “The Wanderings of the Avener”, whose single “Fade out lines”, a cover of a Phoebe Killdeer song, became a worldwide hit, catapulted him to stardom on the electro scene. The accolades and prizes soon followed: triple platinum in France, platinum and gold discs in over 10 countries.
“Heaven”, his second album recorded with Rick Nowels, collaborator of Beyoncé, Madonna and Lana Del Rey (The Avener also worked with Lana Del Rey and Bob Dylan on a cover of “Masters of War”), was crowned by a special world tour in summer 2020.
In 2023, Tristan released “Alpaca”, a clubbing anthem with a powerful beat and hypnotic vocals, produced in collaboration with Italian duo White Shrts. A remix co-produced with his friend Adam Trigger for Lost Frequencies’ “The Feeling” is also unveiled. During the summer of 2023, Tristan played the world’s most prestigious clubs, venues and festivals, visiting over 30 venues in 2 months.
