  • By train

    The estate is located close to several SNCF and CFF stations, served by TGV and TGV Lyria trains:

    – Bellegarde, Cluses and Thonon-les-Bains (in France)
    – Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux and Aigle (in Switzerland via TGV Lyria and RegioExpress)

    Shuttle buses drop you off in the heart of the villages!

  • By plane

    The Portes du Soleil resort is located 1 hour from Geneva international airport.

    The airport is served by 49 airlines (Easy Jet offers flights from 40 European cities) and handles 388 daily flights.

    Shuttle buses take you from the airport to the mountain villages in just 1 hour.

  • Carbon footprint

    This year, to limit its environmental impact
    environmental impact, the festival
    moving its stages. This means a
    carbon footprint reduced by 20%.

  • Reasoned programming

    All the artists chosen during the
    are either already on tour
    or in a European region
    accessible by train.

  • Tickets

    We do not issue paper tickets. Access tickets are ski passes,
    all rechargeable on hands-free media.

  • Instructions

    The cups in the refreshment areas and the 1.5 litre jugs are reusable and returnable containers.

  • Mobility

    100% of our festival-goers travel to the stages on foot or on skis, so our carbon footprint for access to the concerts is very low.

  • Power supply

    The products on offer in the refreshment and catering outlets at the festival come from
    often organic and, above all, regional.

  • Waste

    Mountain scenery means restoring
    of a ski slope. All the
    is collected and sorted by our green brigades.

  • Raising awareness

    The public is made aware of the need to respect the environment by means of specific signs and information.

  • Ski instructions

    For safety reasons, skis must be removed.
    Free but unguarded ski racks are available at each concert site on the slopes.

  • Refreshment stands

    Fancy a good beer or a refreshing drink, and want to enjoy a quick bite to eat with your feet in the snow and your head in the sun?
    No problem, each concert site has its own refreshment area.
    (On the Montriond-Avoriaz ski area: drinks only. No snack bars).
    Refreshment stands at concert venues open from midday.
    Be responsible, think of your return on skis!

  • Accessibility

    The Portes du Soleil ski area is committed to the development of Handiskiing.
    We have therefore ensured that most of the concert sites on the slopes are accessible via a Handiski-friendly lift. There is a designated PRM area at each concert site, close to each VIP/guest area. Information at the entrance to each concert venue.

  • Back to station

    So that you can ski back home after the concerts on the slopes, the main connecting ski lifts close 1/2 hour later throughout the festival week!

    And to keep the fun going, more than 30 après-ski concerts are scheduled in the resort centres.

  • Access to concert venues

    The concert venues open every day from midday (and even 11.30am on Saturday 23rd in Morgins).
    DJ Loran will be on hand to keep you entertained from 12.45!

  • Off the Pistes Festival

    OFF concerts are offered free of charge in the après ski resorts.

  • Cancellation insurance

    In the event of the concert being cancelled, and if and only if the concert ski pass / VIP pass has not been used on the ski lifts, the concert ski pass and VIP pass will be carried over to the next edition, or converted into a Portes du Soleil ski pass to be used before the end of the current winter season.

  • Insurance

    In the event of a skiing accident or any other personal cause preventing users from using the lifts, partially
    ski passes / VIP passes that have been partially used will not be reimbursed.
    Snowrisk insurance to cover this risk is available as an optional extra on the online sales
    online sales site at a cost of €3.50 per day.
    Details of the insurance cover are available at www.snowrisk.fr. The insurance is
    offered by Mondial Assistance under the Gritchen Affinity brand.

  • Loss of Ski Pass Concert

    In the event of loss, a duplicate ski pass or VIP pass can only be issued if
    if the Association Portes du Soleil Territoire d’Evènements is in a position to prevent the
    the use of the pass. The holder must give the number of their pass, as indicated on the
    internet purchase confirmation.

Did you know?

The festival is organised by the Association Internationale des Portes du Soleil. All year round, around ten people work to promote the Franco-Swiss ski area and its 12 resorts.

During the week of the festival, more than 6,000 people and 400 volunteers are mobilised to ensure the logistics, welcome, shop and catering.
