The Rock the Pistes festival has been kicking off the festival season every year for the past 12 years!
As the first musical event of spring, it takes place during the third week of March.
What makes it unique?
The concerts take place on the slopes in the middle of the mountains over the course of a week.
Every day at 1pm, fans can hit the slopes to enjoy concerts by French and international rock artists such as Chinese Man, Kesiah Jones, Babyschambles, Shaka Ponk, Selah Sue, Caravan Palace, Skip the Use, Ben l’Oncle Soul, Cali, IAM, Rag’n Bone Man… A unique opportunity to enjoy a unique blend of skiing, sun and music in the middle of winter!

A unique event in Europe, this unusual musical rendez-vous is open to Liftpass holders. Every day for the duration of the festival, skiers are notified of the location of the stage and invited to join in the concerts. For almost a week between the end of March and the beginning of April, the 12 resorts of the Portes du Soleil will live to the rhythm of the Rock the pistes festival, offering skiers pure sensations of skiing and sound.
