For over 20 years, DJ Cut Killer has established himself as the leading figure on the urban scene. Today, he is one of the world’s most iconic hip-hop DJs. His name has become an international benchmark.

Cut Killer first made his mark on the Parisian scene with IZB, France’s first hip-hop collective. His style and the quality of his mixes immediately catapulted him to star DJ status. Mathieu Kassovitz then asked him to play himself in a cult scene from the equally cult film *La Haine*. With success following hot on his heels, he went on to perform DJ sets for the live shows of countless artists on the hip-hop scene: MC Solaar, Akhenaton, IAM, Joey Starr, Puff Daddy…

Cut Killer broke new ground by creating his own mixtapes and his ‘Hip-Hop Soul Party’ compilations, which have become a veritable anthology of hip-hop over the last 20 years. His label, Double H, teamed up with the best DJs on the French hip-hop scene to found the HHDJCREW. Through his label, he has produced for a host of artists, including the track ‘Les Princes de la Ville’ by the group 113 – a platinum-selling single and winner of two Victoires de la Musique awards – as well as for Fabe and many others.Radio Nova gave him airtime, on which he created the legendary ‘Cut Killer Show’. Now broadcast on Skyrock every Saturday between 10 pm and midnight – and has been for over 20 years – it is the leading hip-hop programme in France and number one in the ratings across all radio stations.
